The story of the now famous Banana Cake originated in Guatemala over a hundred years ago. A secret family recipe; passed on from generation to generation. Tia Martita how we all called her, baked her cakes with limited means but with a lot of love. When she announced that the cakes were ready, the family would come from all over to get a loaf. This family tradition is still alive today. Her dream was to one day share her delicious cake with families around the world. Tia Martita entrusted her secret recipe to me and with that her dream will live on.
